"If your properly installed Phoenix Flagpole is stolen while covered under the Pol-D-Fense™ Theft Protection Program, we'll provide a replacement subject to program terms, conditions, and verification requirements."

The Securi-Shur™ Theft-Deterrent Security Locking Device is engineered to significantly deter unauthorized flagpole removal when properly installed, concealed, protected, and maintained. While no theft-deterrent product, locking device, or security system can guarantee prevention of theft, Atlantic Flagpole may provide limited replacement assistance or replacement products under the terms and conditions outlined below for qualifying Phoenix Flagpole installations protected by the Securi-Shur™ system.

This program is intended to encourage proper installation practices, responsible ownership, and reasonable theft-deterrent measures while helping reduce theft risk for qualifying customers.

Program Categories & Coverage Periods

Residential Single-Family Installations

Qualified owner-occupied single-family residential properties not regularly accessible to the general public may qualify for Five (5) Year Flagpole Theft Replacement Coverage.

  • One (1) replacement Phoenix Flagpole package of equal or lesser value
  • Upon payment of a $149 replacement deductible
  • Standard replacement shipping included within the continental United States
  • Coverage is limited to one (1) approved replacement claim per original purchase

Commercial, HOA & Multi-Unit Installations

Commercial properties, HOA common areas, apartment complexes, multi-unit properties, and similar non-public commercial environments may qualify for Three (3) Year Flagpole Theft Replacement Coverage.

  • Partial replacement assistance, discounted replacement products, replacement components, or store credit
  • Commercial claims may require payment of a $249 replacement deductible where applicable
  • Coverage remedies are determined solely at Atlantic Flagpole's discretion

Public & High-Risk Installations

Installations located in public-access or elevated-risk environments (public parks, schools, municipal properties, campgrounds, sports fields, public event venues, unmonitored installations) may qualify for One (1) Year Flagpole Theft Replacement Coverage.

  • Partial replacement assistance, discounted replacement products, replacement components, or store credit
  • Public-access claims may require payment of a $249 replacement deductible where applicable
  • Atlantic Flagpole reserves the sole right to determine claim eligibility, qualification category, and remedy type for all public-access installations

Program Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for consideration under the Phoenix Pol-D-Fense™ Theft Protection Program, ALL of the following conditions must be met:

  • The Securi-Shur™ Theft-Deterrent Security Locking Device and protected Phoenix Flagpole system must have been purchased directly from Atlantic Flagpole or an authorized reseller
  • The Securi-Shur™ system must have been installed according to all Atlantic Flagpole installation instructions and requirements
  • The Securi-Shur™ device must be installed at the time of original Phoenix Flagpole installation or within thirty (30) days of the original flagpole purchase date with verifiable proof of installation
  • The Securi-Shur™ system and surrounding base area must remain properly concealed from plain public visibility after installation
  • The theft-deterrent system must remain fully operational, continuously installed, unmodified, properly protected, and properly maintained at all times
  • The original purchaser must remain the owner of the product
  • The theft incident must be reported to local law enforcement within forty-eight (48) hours of discovery

Customers must also provide:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Installation photos showing proper concealment
  • Photos of the theft scene
  • A copy of the police report
  • Any additional documentation reasonably requested by Atlantic Flagpole

Product Registration Requirement

To activate eligibility under the Phoenix Pol-D-Fense™ Theft Protection Program, customers must register their protected installation within thirty (30) days of installation.

Registration may require:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Installation photos
  • Concealment verification
  • Installation location details

Failure to complete registration may void eligibility under this program.

Concealment & Environmental Protection Requirement

Coverage under this program requires that the Securi-Shur™ Theft-Deterrent Security Locking Device remain properly concealed after installation while also remaining protected from excessive moisture retention and environmental deterioration.

Approved Concealment Methods:

  • Flash collars
  • Decorative rock
  • Gravel
  • Rubber mulch
  • Dry landscape materials
  • Other approved non-moisture-retaining concealment materials approved by Atlantic Flagpole
NOT Approved:
  • Soil contact directly against the device
  • Wet mulch
  • Organic mulch that retains moisture
  • Standing water exposure
  • Improper drainage conditions
  • Any concealment method that accelerates corrosion, deterioration, or environmental breakdown

The Securi-Shur™ device must not remain exposed, easily accessible, or visible in a manner that could reasonably assist a potential thief. Failure to properly conceal and protect the Securi-Shur™ system voids eligibility under this program.

Maintenance & Replacement Requirement

The Securi-Shur™ Theft-Deterrent Security Locking Device must be periodically inspected and properly maintained by the owner.

If the Securi-Shur™ device becomes worn, damaged, compromised, excessively corroded, improperly functioning, or otherwise degraded, the device must be replaced promptly with a genuine Securi-Shur™ replacement device purchased directly from Atlantic Flagpole or an authorized reseller.

Continued use of worn, damaged, modified, compromised, or improperly maintained theft-deterrent components voids eligibility under this program. Atlantic Flagpole reserves the right to deny claims involving systems that were not properly maintained or reasonably serviced.

Insurance & Third-Party Recovery

The Phoenix Pol-D-Fense™ Theft Protection Program is not insurance and is intended solely as a limited supplemental customer assistance program. Customers are responsible for pursuing any available recovery through applicable homeowners, commercial, municipal, renters, or other insurance policies where appropriate.

Atlantic Flagpole reserves the right to request documentation regarding available insurance coverage or insurance claim status when evaluating a program claim. Atlantic Flagpole shall not be responsible for duplicate reimbursement or compensation for losses already covered by insurance or another third party. Any assistance provided under this program may be reduced by amounts recovered through insurance or other third-party compensation.

Exclusions

This program does not apply to:

  • Improper installation
  • Failure to conceal the Securi-Shur™ device
  • Failure to maintain continuous installation of the Securi-Shur™ system
  • Failure to properly maintain or replace worn theft-deterrent components
  • Negligence or lack of maintenance
  • Intentional damage or vandalism
  • Civil unrest, storms, or natural disasters
  • Vehicle impact, fire, or flooding
  • Ground failure
  • Corrosion resulting from improper environmental conditions or neglect
  • Unauthorized modifications or use of non-genuine replacement parts
  • Abandoned or unmonitored properties
  • Commercial misuse
  • Repeated theft incidents
  • Theft involving unlocked or partially installed systems
  • Theft occurring after visible damage or known compromise of the theft-deterrent system
  • Installations that do not comply with Atlantic Flagpole installation requirements

Atlantic Flagpole reserves the right to deny claims where reasonable theft-deterrent measures were not maintained.

Coverage Limitations

  • Coverage is limited to one (1) approved claim per original purchase
  • Coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable
  • Replacement products provided under this program do not restart or extend the original coverage period
  • Atlantic Flagpole reserves the right to substitute comparable products or components based on product availability
  • Atlantic Flagpole reserves the sole right to determine claim eligibility, replacement value, remedy type, installation category classification, and program qualification
  • Atlantic Flagpole is under no obligation to provide full product replacement except where expressly stated under qualifying residential replacement coverage terms

Limitation of Liability

Atlantic Flagpole shall not be liable for labor costs, installation expenses, removal costs, concrete or excavation costs, landscaping expenses, property damage, indirect damages, consequential damages, incidental damages, lost profits, loss of use, business interruption, third-party claims, expedited shipping costs, or damages exceeding the original purchase price. This program is not insurance and does not guarantee theft prevention.

Right to Investigate Claims

Atlantic Flagpole reserves the right to investigate all claims submitted under this program. Atlantic Flagpole may request additional information, documentation, photographs, installation verification, maintenance records, replacement documentation, or evidence reasonably necessary to evaluate claim eligibility. Fraudulent claims automatically void all program eligibility.

Program Modifications

Atlantic Flagpole reserves the right to modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue this program at any time without notice. Coverage determinations are made solely at the discretion of Atlantic Flagpole based on the circumstances of each claim. Coverage periods begin on the original date of product purchase and do not restart upon replacement or repair.
