Part One: Phoenix Limited Lifetime Forever™ Warranty Explanation

Limited Lifetime Coverage

The Phoenix Telescoping Flagpole is provided to the original purchaser with a Limited Lifetime Forever™ Warranty covering qualifying defects in materials and workmanship and normal wear of the covered Phoenix components, subject to the terms and exclusions below.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and original owner. It is not transferable.

To activate the warranty, the purchaser must register the product within 90 days of purchase and retain the original proof of purchase.

Covered components

The Limited Lifetime Forever™ Warranty applies to the following Phoenix flagpole components:

  • Interlocking sleeves
  • Swivel rings

If a covered component fails because of a qualifying defect or normal wear covered by this warranty, Phoenix Flagpoles or Atlantic Flagpole may provide a replacement component.

The customer is responsible for:

  • Shipping
  • Handling
  • Labor
  • Installation
  • Removal
  • Disposal
  • Contractor charges
  • Inspection charges
  • Any other service-related expenses

If the customer chooses to return the flagpole or a component for repair or replacement, the customer is responsible for shipping and labor charges unless Atlantic Flagpole agrees otherwise in writing.

Limited Lifetime Forever™ Warranty exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • Negligence
  • Misuse
  • Abuse
  • Accident
  • Impact
  • Improper installation
  • Improper maintenance
  • Failure to follow instructions
  • Acts of God
  • Severe or catastrophic weather

  • Soil movement, foundation failure, frost heave, erosion, flooding, or drainage problems
  • Damage to flags, solar lights, decorative toppers, promotional items, bundle accessories, or other non-covered products

The Limited Lifetime Forever™ Warranty does not cover aluminum tube sections damaged by wind. Wind-related aluminum tube damage is addressed separately under the applicable Phoenix Wind-Rated Performance.

Part Two: Phoenix Wind-Rated Performance

Separate limited benefit

The Phoenix Wind-Rated Performance is a separate limited benefit provided to the original purchaser of a Phoenix Telescoping Flagpole.

It applies only to qualifying bending or breakage of the aluminum tube sections when all requirements of this policy have been satisfied.

This guarantee is not an unconditional promise that a flagpole cannot bend, break, or sustain damage during every storm or weather event. Wind loading is affected by the flag, accessories, moisture, installation, soil, foundation, exposure, wind direction, turbulence, sustained winds, and other conditions.

A qualifying claim may result in replacement of the damaged aluminum tube section or sections, subject to approval, the applicable wind rating, the $149 deductible, and the limitations in this policy.

The 15-foot Phoenix Flagpole is a lighter-duty model that uses different aluminum tubing specifications from the 20-foot and 25-foot models. Its separate 75 MPH rating reflects its applicable design and material specifications.

All eligibility requirements, exclusions, owner responsibilities, proof requirements, investigation procedures, deductible provisions, and replacement limitations continue to apply to prior purchases.

Approved use requirements

The Wind-Rated Performance applies only when all of the following requirements are satisfied:

  1. The flagpole is a genuine Phoenix Telescoping Flagpole purchased from Atlantic Flagpole or an authorized reseller.
  2. The claimant is the original purchaser and can provide valid proof of purchase.
  3. The flagpole was installed according to the official Phoenix installation instructions applicable to that model.
  4. The required ground sleeve, foundation, drainage, depth, concrete, and frostline considerations were properly followed.
  5. The pole was properly aligned, secured, and maintained.
  6. Only one flag was attached.
  7. The flag did not exceed the approved size for the applicable pole height.
  8. The flag was the Premium Nylon U.S. flag supplied with the applicable Phoenix kit, or an identical replacement flag of the same material and approved dimensions.
  9. Only one 3-inch ball topper or finial was attached. The topper may be any color, but it must be comparable in size, shape, and weight to the standard 3-inch ball supplied with the Phoenix kit.
  10. No solar light, eagle, decorative topper, windsock, banner, ornament, camera, antenna, bracket, pulley, support, or other accessory was attached.
  11. No component was drilled, cut, altered, painted, welded, reinforced, replaced with a non-approved component, or otherwise modified.
  12. The flagpole was not struck, bumped, scraped, crushed, pulled, or contacted by a vehicle, tree, branch, structure, animal, lawn equipment, or other object.
  13. The flagpole was not raised, lowered, collapsed, operated, or stored while frozen, iced, or obstructed by snow or ice.
  14. The owner monitored local weather conditions and removed the flag and lowered the pole before severe or extreme weather conditions affected the area.
  15. The damage occurred during a qualifying wind event that did not exceed the applicable rating for the pole height.

All requirements must be satisfied. Compliance with only some requirements does not create eligibility.

Wind measurement standard

For purposes of this guarantee, the relevant wind speed is the highest reasonably verifiable official peak wind gust associated with the incident at or near the installation location.

Atlantic Flagpole may review information from:

  • The National Weather Service
  • NOAA
  • Official airport weather stations
  • State or local emergency management records
  • Local government weather records
  • Other reliable and reasonably representative weather sources

Customer screenshots, weather applications, eyewitness statements, and online posts may be considered but are not conclusive by themselves.

The investigation may consider:

  • Peak wind gust
  • Sustained wind speed
  • Distance from the weather station
  • Elevation and terrain
  • Wind exposure at the property
  • Wind direction
  • Duration of the event
  • Rain, snow, ice, hail, lightning, flooding, or other conditions
  • Whether the event involved an official severe weather warning or named weather system

A reported wind speed cannot be accepted as conclusive if it cannot reasonably be connected to the installation location or if the source cannot be verified.

Severe weather exclusions

The Wind-Rated Performance does not cover damage associated with:

  • Wind exceeding the applicable rating
  • Hurricanes
  • Tropical storms
  • Tornadoes
  • Tornado warnings or direct tornado activity
  • Severe thunderstorms
  • Microbursts
  • Derechos
  • Hailstorms
  • Lightning
  • Ice storms
  • Blizzards
  • Heavy snow or ice loading
  • Flooding
  • Storm surge
  • Other catastrophic or officially designated extreme weather events

This exclusion applies even if a particular wind reading at the customer’s location is below the applicable rating.

The guarantee also does not cover damage caused by sustained severe weather, abnormal turbulence, unusually heavy or wet flags, snow or ice accumulation, or conditions that materially increase the load on the flagpole.

Owner responsibilities

The owner is responsible for:

  • Following all official installation instructions
  • Using only approved flags and toppers
  • Removing unauthorized accessories
  • Inspecting the pole periodically
  • Monitoring local weather conditions
  • Removing the flag before severe weather
  • Lowering the pole before extreme weather arrives
  • Avoiding operation while the pole is frozen, iced, or obstructed
  • Preventing contact with vehicles, equipment, trees, buildings, and other objects
  • Preserving damaged components after an incident
  • Providing complete and accurate information during the claim investigation

Failure to follow these responsibilities may make the claim ineligible.

Part Three: Wind-Rated Performance Coverage

What the Wind-Rated Performance covers

If a claim is approved, the Wind-Rated Performance covers replacement of qualifying damaged aluminum tube sections only.

The guarantee does not cover:

  • Flags
  • Solar lights
  • Toppers or finials
  • Interlocking sleeves
  • Swivel rings
  • Base caps
  • Top caps
  • Post fasteners
  • Lexan components
  • Ground sleeves
  • Concrete foundations
  • Landscaping
  • Buildings
  • Vehicles
  • Personal property
  • Installation
  • Removal
  • Labor
  • Contractor charges
  • Inspection charges
  • Disposal
  • Lost use
  • Loss of income
  • Travel expenses
  • Incidental damages
  • Consequential damages

Required claim evidence

A claim must include:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Order number or other purchase information
  • Product height, finish, and configuration
  • Installation address
  • Date and approximate time of the incident
  • Written description of what occurred
  • Exact flag size and material
  • List of every accessory attached at the time
  • Description of whether the flag was wet, frozen, or snow-covered
  • Description of whether the pole was fully extended, partially extended, or lowered
  • Description of when the flag was removed and when the pole was lowered
  • Weather information and source
  • Photographs of the entire pole
  • Close-up photographs of all damaged sections
  • Photographs of the base, ground sleeve, foundation, and surrounding soil
  • Photographs of all connected components
  • Photographs of the flag, topper, and accessories
  • Photographs of surrounding property damage, if any
  • Installation photographs, if available
  • Witness information, if available
  • Any repair records or prior claim information

The customer must preserve the damaged parts in their original condition.

The customer must not straighten, cut, drill, repair, paint, discard, or modify damaged tubing before the investigation is complete.

Atlantic Flagpole may require additional photographs, measurements, weather records, written statements, an inspection, or return of damaged components.

Failure to provide requested information or reasonable access to evidence may result in denial because the claim cannot be verified.

Part Four: Investigation Process

After receiving a claim, Atlantic Flagpole may:

  1. Confirm the purchase and ownership history.
  2. Confirm whether the product is eligible.
  3. Review registration and proof of purchase.
  4. Review the customer’s written statement.
  5. Verify installation information.
  6. Review photographs and videos.
  7. Verify weather conditions independently.
  8. Examine the failure pattern.
  9. Review prior claims, repairs, replacements, and customer communications.
  10. Request additional evidence.
  11. Request return or inspection of damaged components.
  12. Consult Phoenix Flagpoles, engineering personnel, weather professionals, or other qualified reviewers.
  13. Determine whether an exclusion applies.
  14. Determine whether the evidence establishes a qualifying wind-related tube failure.

A claim remains under investigation until a written decision is issued.

Opening an investigation does not mean that the claim has been approved.

Customer service representatives may not promise approval, replacement, reimbursement, shipping coverage, or a delivery date before the claim is formally approved.

The customer must provide complete and truthful information. Material omissions, false statements, altered evidence, inconsistent explanations, destroyed evidence, or evidence submitted in bad faith may result in denial of the claim and may affect consideration of future claims.

Claim decisions

A claim may be classified as:

  • Approved
  • Denied
  • Pending additional information
  • Unable to determine

A claim may be denied when the evidence establishes or reasonably indicates:

  • Improper installation
  • Insufficient foundation or drainage
  • Frost movement or soil settlement
  • Unauthorized accessories
  • Oversized, multiple, wet, frozen, or unusually heavy flags
  • Unauthorized modification
  • Impact or accidental damage
  • Negligence or misuse
  • Operation while frozen or iced
  • Failure to remove the flag or lower the pole when required
  • Wind above the applicable rating
  • An excluded severe weather event
  • Damage to a non-covered component
  • Lack of proof of purchase
  • Transfer to a non-eligible owner
  • Failure to preserve evidence
  • Refusal to cooperate with the investigation
  • Materially false, incomplete, or misleading information
  • Inability to reasonably verify the cause of failure

Claim eligibility will be determined after review of the available purchase, installation, weather, photographic, physical, and other relevant evidence.

Part Five: Deductible and Shipping

The $149 deductible applies only to an approved claim under the separate Wind-Rated Performance.

The deductible applies once per separate approved wind incident. It covers all qualifying aluminum tube sections included in that approved claim.

The deductible is not charged until the claim has been reviewed and approved. After approval, Atlantic Flagpole will provide a secure payment link.

Once the $149 deductible has been paid:

  • Approved replacement aluminum tube sections will be provided.
  • Standard outbound shipping for the approved replacement sections will be included.
  • Standard repair or installation instructions will be provided.
  • Labor, installation, removal, disposal, inspection, contractor charges, and other service costs remain the customer’s responsibility.
  • Shipping costs for returning damaged components for inspection are the customer’s responsibility unless Atlantic Flagpole agrees otherwise in writing.

If the claim is denied, no replacement is owed under this guarantee and no deductible is due.

Part Six: One-Time Replacement and Repeat Claims

The Wind-Rated Performance provides one replacement claim for one qualifying wind incident during the lifetime of the original flagpole.

All qualifying aluminum tube sections damaged during that single incident may be included in one approved claim.

Damage that develops gradually, recurs in the same location, or results from an unresolved installation, foundation, soil, drainage, accessory, maintenance, or operating condition will be treated as part of the original incident and will not qualify as a new wind event.

A later claim will be considered a separate incident only when the customer provides evidence of:

  • A distinct qualifying event
  • Occurrence after the prior claim was resolved
  • Proper installation of the replacement components
  • Compliance with all guarantee requirements at the time of the later event
  • A new failure caused by the separate qualifying event

Separate incidents require separate investigations and separate deductibles.

Additional replacement requests are not automatically covered and may be considered only under documented extenuating circumstances.

Atlantic Flagpole may require photographs, weather records, inspection, installation verification, return of damaged components, and other reasonable evidence before considering an additional request.

Atlantic Flagpole may deny additional claims when the evidence indicates:

  • Repeated misuse
  • Negligence
  • Improper installation
  • Unresolved foundation problems
  • Unauthorized accessories
  • Failure to follow storm procedures
  • Repeated operation while frozen
  • Bad-faith reporting
  • A continuing condition that caused the original failure

Approval of an additional request does not establish a continuing course of coverage, waive any requirement, or create a new guarantee period.

Part Seven: Replacement Limitations

The Wind-Rated Performance is limited to replacement of qualifying aluminum tube sections.

The guarantee does not provide:

  • A cash refund
  • A replacement flagpole
  • Reimbursement for a third-party product
  • Payment for property damage
  • Payment for labor or installation
  • Payment for removal or disposal
  • Payment for incidental or consequential losses

A replacement tube section provided under this guarantee does not create a new or expanded Wind-Rated Performance. Replacement components remain subject to the applicable original warranty terms.

Part Eight: No Automatic Admission or Precedent

Any replacement, discount, payment, courtesy part, or other accommodation provided by Atlantic Flagpole does not necessarily mean that the claim qualified under this guarantee.

A courtesy accommodation does not waive any warranty term, create coverage for future incidents, establish a precedent, or constitute an admission of liability.

Part Nine: Limitation of Remedies

The remedies described in this policy are limited to the remedies expressly stated above.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Atlantic Flagpole and Phoenix Flagpoles are not responsible for incidental, indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use, inability to use, failure, bending, breakage, repair, removal, or replacement of the flagpole.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, this limitation may not apply to every customer.

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or limit rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Part Ten: State Law

This policy gives the customer specific legal rights. The customer may also have additional rights that vary from state to state.

If any provision of this policy is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

• “Two Lights, Two Failures, Two Years”

I’ve been a customer of Atlantic Flag & Pole for a couple of years and the flagpole itself is genuinely excellent — no complaints there. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for their 800 series solar light.
This is the second solar light I’ve gone through in two years. The first failed within a year and was replaced at no charge, which I appreciated. The replacement has now failed at the same point in its life — around the one-year mark.
What makes this especially frustrating is that I took deliberate steps to protect the light. Living in Ohio, I brought it indoors every winter to shield it from the harsh weather. Despite that extra care, it still didn’t last.
When I contacted customer support, the team was courteous and professional. But the resolution — a 30% discount toward another $300 light — doesn’t feel fair given the pattern of failure. I’m essentially being asked to pay full price again for a product that has proven it won’t last.
I fly the American flag and I take that seriously. I want a reliable light on that pole. At this price point, I expected better longevity and better backing from the company when things go wrong.
If you’re considering the flagpole, go for it. But I’d think carefully before investing in the solar light accessory until Atlantic Flag & Pole addresses the reliability issues and stands behind the product more fully.

Hi Eric,

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re glad to hear you’ve been happy with the flagpole itself. We also appreciate your kind words about our customer support team.

We do want to respectfully clarify the warranty situation. The 800 Series Solar Light includes a 2-year warranty. When your original light failed within that warranty period, we fully honored the warranty and replaced it at no charge.

The replacement light was provided under that original warranty coverage. When you contacted us again, the original 2-year warranty period had already expired. While we understand your frustration, warranties do have defined coverage periods, and we are not able to continue replacing products indefinitely after the warranty has ended.

That said, we still wanted to help, which is why we offered 30% off a replacement light even though the warranty period had passed.

We stand behind our products and our warranty commitments, and in this case, we did honor the warranty in full. We’re sorry the light did not meet your expectations, but we believe the support provided was fair and consistent with the stated warranty terms.

Thank you again for your business and for your feedback.

Awesome flagpoles! Telescoping feature is the best and all American made is all I want!

SAVE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT BUY THE LIGHT. After 1 year my light no longer worked. I contacted them and they said they would get back to me and what do you know they still have not responded and it is a year ago. Customer service is terrible.
One thing I have to say that the flagpole is GREAT!!
I am very happy with the flagpole but not with the light and how they handled this situation.
If things were different I would have gave this 10 stars.

Love my Atlantic Flag pole

I have thoroughly loved my Atlantic Flag pole. The only change I'd recommend (or option to be made available) would be to have made weighted bead tethers and a top ball bearing swivel.
Mine began wrapping more as time went on even though I applied the best plastic to plastic lubricant, so I first bought 2, 2"diameter 1 lb. tethers. Then I found a 2"diameter flag pole ball bearing swivel. I lightly sanded down the current plastic stopper ring until it slide over it and put the screws through it.
It hasn't wrapped since! And will never wear out!
This is something I'm hoping they will come out with to fit there flag poles specifically so people don't have to re-engineer things to work like I did.
Otherwise from that, this is a fantastic flag pole!

GREAT SERVICE

I LOVE my flagpole. I purchased it in 2018 and recently had trouble with one of the locking mechanisms so I was unable to get the flagpole to fully extend. I sent an email on a Saturday explaining my situation and I got a response that day. A gentleman named Kevin texted me a video explaining how to repair my flagpole and he also immediately sent me the parts I needed to repair the flagpole which were covered under the warranty. The quick response on a

We love our Flagpole

We received our flagpole last year but just installed it! Absolutely love it! Installation was hassle free, videos were a big help. We have received numerous compliments on it and are so happy to be flying Old Glory at our new home! Thank you for making such a wonderful product!

This is the second flagpole that I have from Atlantic Flag and Pole. I had a small issue with the flags getting twisted. Bethany called me directly made a few suggestions and now both flags are flying as they should.
Well done Bethany!

20 ft. Flagpole

Nice pole but I have a couple of problems with mine. In a 25 mph wind the pole bends a little and I cannot lower the flag. In light and variable wind the flag sometimes hangs up flat against the pole and doesn't fly because the plastic ring at flag attachment doesn't turn easily in that situation.

Nice Flagpole

I have a 20’ pole and enjoy it, but there are a couple of problems with it. In a 25 mph wind it bends just enough that I cannot lower it. When wind is light and variable the flag sometimes gets hung flat against the pole and doesn't fly because the rings the flag is attached to do not turn on the pole.

I have owned my Telescoping 25+ Foot Pole with the 4x6 American Flag that came with it since August 2020. I just had to come and put in a review and let you all know that this is one sturdy and strong pole. I live in Lower Alabama and we get some strong winds. Granted I do telescope it down when we have a hurricane coming, take off the solar light and bring my flag in. But, it is standing proud and true still. The flag is very well made. It has enduring daily waving, sun and rain. It's colors do not bleed but, it does fade with time but, it stays crisp. I believe that the flag will still look good for another year or so. I like my colors sharp so I'll let you all know how long it lasts til I feel I want to replace it. I highly recommend this company's telescoping flag pole and the American Flag they sell. Both excellent quality.

Great flagpole

100% satisfied with this flagpole. We have had it up about 4 yrs, flying OLD GLORY with pride. We take pole down during tornadoes or hurricanes , then goes right back up when storm is done. I have had no problem with the locking or unlocking system. Poles have gone up or down very easily, simple to lock an unlock.

Great Flagpole

I purchased my flagpole almost a year ago and I did not want to be too quick to review whether good or bad. I live in a high wind area and this flagpole has lived up to its promises. I followed all the instructions on installation and I love it. The American flag did not make it for a full year, but again, we are in a high wind area. I would highly recommend this flagpole and company.
