Ohio State Flag
$45.95
3x5 Ohio State Flag For Sale
The Ohio state flag is a swallowtail called the Ohio Burgee and it is the only non-rectangular United States State flag. The flags colors of red, white, and blue symbolize its admission into the Union and the states natural features. The blue triangle represents the hills and valleys of Ohio while the strips are reminiscent of the roads and waterways. A prominent disk (white circle) in the flags triangle is suggestive of its name, Ohio, as well as representative of its nickname, The Buckeye State. 13 white stars grouped around the disk represent the original 13 colonies of the country while the 4 forward facing stars represent Ohio being the 17th state admitted to the Union.
For almost a century Ohio had no official state flag. The current design was designed in 1901 and officially adopted in 1902. And has an official salute and a folding process that is 17 steps long.

Thin Blue Line Flag
$41.50
$54.95
This 3x5 thin blue line flag is made in America. Many fly this flag in support of our police and law enforcement personnel across the country. Made of durable nylon and brass grommets for attaching to your flag pole. This flag feature a solid black bar on the top and the bottom of the flag with a thin blue line separating the two fields in the center.
What does the thin blue line flag represent?
This iconic symbol is seen all over the place these days. From flags to T-Shirts. The meaning of the thin blue line has multiple meanings depending on who you ask. According to Oxford Dictionaries, it is a symbol of law enforcement "in the context of maintaining order during unrest." Basically, the police (the thin blue line) separate chaos from order or criminals from victims.
A police department in Connecticut says that the black areas the blue line separate actually represents life and death, and we do see this symbol very often used to honor an officer killed in the line of duty.
It is a blue line as that is the traditional colors of police uniforms, while the black is used as a stark contrast for the blue line.Interestingly enough the first use of the thin blue line in America actually represented the US Army (at this time the U.S. soldiers wore blue uniforms) in a poem from 1911. This poem tweaked the original "thin red line" which dates back to 1854 and referenced a battle formation.
The first use of the thin blue line to represent police and law enforcement is found in 1966 when used in a documentary exploring the brotherhood of police officers.
There are also some negative connotations to the flag used throughout society, however, this flag really is used to show support for police and their job to the communities they serve.

Oklahoma State Flag
$45.95
3x5 Oklahoma State Flag For Sale
The Oklahoma state flag consists of the traditional Osage Nation buffalo-skin shield with seven eagle feathers set on a field of sky blue. On the Osage shield, it is covered by symbols of peace, the olive branch (representing the European Americans) and the Plains-style ceremonial pipe (representing the Native Americans.) Six brown crosses across the shield are the Native Americans symbol for the stars. The blue field envokes devotion while the posture of the shield with peace symbols represents a defensive or protective stance while showing love of peace by it's united people.
The current Oklahoma state flag is not the original flag from 1911-1925. The original flag was red, white, and blue with a large star and the number 46 in the middle, representing Oklahoma as the 46th State of the Union. The state government held a contest for a new flag design in 1924 fearing the red too closely associated with the red flag of communism. In 1925 the current flag was adopted after a winning entry by Louise Fluke; however, it did not have the words Oklahoma on it until 1941.
The Oklahoma state salute adopted in 1982 is as follows; "I salute the Flag of the State of Oklahoma: its symbols of peace unite all the people."

The Wyoming State Flag has the same colors of red, white, and blue as the national flag. The flag is a field of red with a blue rectangle in the center that has a thin white border. In the center of the field of blue sites a mighty white bison with the Wyoming state seal on the bison.
The red is said to represent the native Americans who were in Wyoming long before the settlers as well as the blood of the pioneers who spilled their blood to claim the land. Purity and uprightness are represented in the whiteness of the flag while the blue represents justice, fidelity, virility, and the Wyoming skies.
The WY State flag was officially adopted in 1917 after a 1916 contest for flag designs. The winner received $20 (almost $500 factoring in inflation.)
The Great Seal of the State of Wyoming:
The great seal was originally adopted in 1893 and revised in 1921. The seal is a circle with the words "Great Seal of the State of Wyoming" encircle it. A draped statue-like figure stands in the center holds a staff with a ribbon which reads "Equal Rights." This represents the fact that women have enjoyed equal rights in Wyoming since 1869. The statue sits on a platform with the mighty eagle underneath of it. Under the Eagle is a shield with a star on top with the number 44 to show Wyoming as the 44th state. The shield has 13 stripes representing the original 13 colonies of America. On the sides next to the shield are ribbons which read "1869" and "1890" which are the years of the organization of Wyoming government and it's year of admission to the Union respectively. On either side of the statue-like centered figure are 2 gorgeous pillars with the lamps on top burning the Light of Knowledge. Wrapped around the one pole are the words "Livestock" and "Grain" while the other pillar has a banner which reads "Oil" and "Mines" which were the 4 major industries in Wyoming at its adoption. 2 male figures representing the industries of mining and livestock support the pillars.

The flag of the State of Tennessee sits on a red field with a stripe of white then blue on the flying side edge. In the center of the flag are 3 white circles on a blue circle surrounded by a white outline. These 3 stars represent the Grand Divisions of the state, East Tennessee, Middle Tennesse, and West Tennessee with the blue circle showing the unity of the 3 Grand Divisions and the white band showing the 3 are bound together as an indissoluble trinity.
A Johnson City attorney serving in the Tennessee National Gaurd, Colonel LeRoy Reeves, designed the flag which was adopted officially on April 17, 1905.
The Tennesse state flag has been the feature of mistakes by both National Geographic and the United States Postal Service.
The USPS had sheet stamps representing each state in 1976. They printed all of the Tennesse Flag stamps upside down as the ignored how the stars are legally required to be displayed.
In October of 1917, National Geographic reported that the 3 stars on the flag represent Tennesse as being the 3'rd state to join the union after the original 13 colonies. While true that Tennessee was the 16'th state to join the union, this alleged representation of the meaning of the stars was just made up and are completely false. We know this by simply reading what the flags creator, Colonel LeRoy Reeves, wrote on what the symbols of the flag represented.
There are two official salutes to the Tennessee flag, both made official in 2006. The first salute:"Three white stars on a field of blueGod keep them strong and ever trueIt is with pride and love that weSalute the Flag of Tennessee."
-written by Lucy Steele Harrison The second salute to the Tennessee flag:"Flag of Tennessee, I salute theeTo thee I pledge my allegiance withMy affection, my service and my life."

South Carolina State Flag
$45.95
3x5 South Carolina State Flag For Sale
The State of South Carolina flag includes a white crescent moon with a white palmetto tree on a solid colored field. There is no official color designation or size of the shapes on the flag and that is why you see flags of varying colors across the state. Both the palmetto and the crescent moon on the South Carolina flag represent Colonel William Moultrie. The crescent moon was on the hats of some of his regiments, and the palmetto trees helped keep Sullivans Island fortress safe from British cannon attacks.
The flag of the state of South Carolina has existed since 1775, and is based on one of the first Revolutionary War flags. The history of the flag is impressive and starts in 1775 with Colonel William Moultrie. It was during the Revolutionary War and there was no official national or state flag, needing a flag for signals for his troops the Colonel commisioned a blue flag to match the color of his troop's uniforms with the crescent moon which the 1st and 2nd regiments wore on their caps. This flag came to be known as the "Liberty Flag" and the "Moultrie Flag", when it's popularity exploded. In a 16 hour battle, the flag was shot down, but Sergeant William Jasper ran out into the open and raised the flag again, which rallied the entirety of the troops and saved South Carolina from conquest for 4 years. Due to this heroic deed, the flag became the symbol of the Revolution and Liberty for not only the state but the new nation. It is known as the first American flag to ever fly over the south.
The Liberty Flag | The Moultrie Flag;
Interestingly enough not only was South Carolina the first southern state to fly an American flag, they are also known as the state flying the very first Confederate flag on captured United States territory.
The Sovernty Secession Flag;
This product is for the current flag of South Carolina displayed in the main product images and does not include the other flags depicted in the description.
